People that have inspired us

Who has made an impact on the world / influenced us? The task this time is to work program related, so you need to find a person that has made some kind of impact within the areas that you have studied (for example NA = within science or mathematics / SA = an impact on society and our planet, human wellbeing etc / EK = a businessman or someone who has had an impact on the financial world, the global or national economy etc / ES = an artist or a musician...)

1. Choose a person. Write a message in Teams who you have chosen.

2. Try to find information about this person.
- What is his / her background? Where does he / she live?
- Why is he / she famous? (What was surprising about this person?)
Write down key words and prepare to speak for about 4 minutes. You can choose if you want to record your speech and share it with me or if you want to hold your speech in class. (There will be about 6 students in each group).

3. Write a short summary of your presentation in your own words. If you need quotes, make sure that you show this properly by using quotation marks and by showing the source (person you cited + where you found it). The text should be around 250 words long. Share the text on Teams Home Assignment. Deadline: Friday, week 43

Time: Friday, w. 41 + w. 42-43.

You will be able to work from home week 42 + Monday, w. 43, but I will be in the classroom, if you need any help.
